SARAH ANN BIRD
Sarah is based in the South West and has exhibited her work in various locations including the Ebeneezer Gallery in Polperro as a member of the East Cornwall Association of Artists. Sarah travelled extensively during her career in the military followed by humanitarian and missional work before being ordained in 2015. As a student, she trained at the Bournemouth College of Art, winning the Solent Regional Art Award. She further developed her skills through various workshops and more recently through atelier method training. Sarah has been involved with the Soldier’s Art Academy for several years and enjoys developing different techniques and continually improving her skills.
Not limiting herself subjects, Sarah delights in capturing moments in time, reflected in scenery, nature or people and enjoys the challenge of producing characterful portraits of both people and pets. As well as taking on commissions, Sarah is available to lead creative workshops, teaching groups to achieve mindful relaxation through the medium of art.
